TRY THESE WITH KIDS!
1. Energy Check-In
Ask: “If your energy was a phone battery, what percent would it be right now?” Talk about what helps “charge” it — sleep, quiet time, music, laughter.
2. Two-Minute Reset
Invite kids to close their eyes, stretch, or take three slow breaths. Then ask: “What changed in your body or mood?” Shows how small pauses can make a big difference.
3. Pick Your Peace
Prompt: “What’s one thing that helps you feel calm when life feels busy?” (Examples: drawing, deep breaths, playing outside.) Have each kid share their go-to strategy to build a “class (or home) list” of calming ideas.
